As we pray together toward our future home…
Scripture: “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
Reflect: Society often pushes us toward comfort, security, and the accumulation of “stuff.” While those things can be tangible and reassuring, what if God is offering something even more tangible and lasting? He invites us to daily renewal, to seek His ways, and to trust that everything we truly need will be provided. As we approach our commitment to For Austin in four days, how might you approach this decision with a renewed mind, focused on God’s promises rather than worldly measures of security?
Prayer: “Father, renew my mind to focus on Your kingdom over worldly comforts. Help me see Your will as good, pleasing, and complete.”
Optional Element: Write a favorite truth of God—like a verse or promise—on a card or sticky note, and place it somewhere you’ll see throughout the day (on your phone, desk, or mirror). Each time you see it, remind yourself of God’s promises and allow it to guide you toward a mindset of transformation and trust.
