Day 20: 2 Corinthians 8:3-4

As we pray together toward our future home…

Scripture: “For I testify that they gave as much as they were able, and even beyond their ability. Entirely on their own, they urgently pleaded with us for the privilege of sharing in this service to the Lord’s people.”

Reflect: Have you ever been drawn to something bigger than yourself, something transcendent? That desire to be part of a greater story is God’s invitation to step into something lasting and meaningful. For Austin is our chance as a church to create a legacy that could impact generations and to be part of a new way forward for the church in Greater Austin. As you reflect on where God has brought you and your family to this point, do you feel clarity about what He’s calling you to commit? If not, take a moment to ask Him directly. He may be inviting you to step beyond comfort to experience His faithfulness in a powerful way.

Prayer: “God, I know this commitment may be beyond my comfort level, but I trust You. Please give me clarity and courage to commit exactly what You are calling me (and my family) to give over the next 18 months to For Austin.”

Optional Element: As a reminder of stepping beyond comfort, choose one small luxury or convenience today to give up and redirect those funds toward blessing someone else. Let the stretch remind you that true impact often requires stepping beyond what’s easy, trusting God’s provision in the process.
