Scripture: “‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’”
Reflect: Take a moment to reflect on the plans you’ve had for your life. How many times have you felt uncertain about the future or unsure of the next step? While Jeremiah 29:11 has a specific context, the principle reminds us that God has a plan for each of us, a plan filled with hope and purpose, even when we can’t see the full picture. When you think about that, how does that make you feel? Consider how trusting in His plan, rather than your own, might change the way you approach the unknown in your life today.
Prayer: “Lord, show me today how my giving can impact the future hope and plans You have for others in Greater Austin.”
Optional Element: Pray for someone in your life who feels uncertain about their future. Send them an encouraging text or note.
