Day 6: Psalm 37:23

As we pray together toward our future home…

Scripture: “The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him.”

Reflect: Psalm 37:23 tells us that the Lord directs the steps of those who delight in Him. Delighting in God means finding joy in His presence and trusting His ways. As we journey through this building campaign, think about what it means to truly delight in God and how that could guide your steps in shaping the future of our church and Austin. What if following God’s lead in generosity isn’t just about giving, but about experiencing deeper joy and purpose? What if it allows you to delight in God in new ways? Reflect on how aligning your heart with God’s desires could make a lasting impact on your life and the lives of others in this community.

Prayer: “Lord, help me find delight in You as I walk in faith and consider how You are leading me in the For Austin campaign.”

‍Optional Element: Take a moment today to write down three things that bring you joy and remind you of God’s presence in your life. These could be simple, everyday moments like a sunrise, a conversation, or even a favorite place in Austin. Then, spend time in prayer, thanking God for these joys and asking Him to show you new ways to delight in Him. You could even create a “joy jar” where you collect moments of delight throughout the campaign and revisit them as a reminder of God’s goodness.
